And when the snows come, enjoy downhill skiing at the Camden Snow Bowl, which also has an exciting toboggan chute. There are extensive groomed cross-country skiing and snowmobiling trails. Take to the ice and lace up the skates or grab a rod and go ice fishing.

To sate culture craving, explore the Penobscot Marine Museum at Searsport, wander through the galleries at the Farnsworth Art Museum in Rockland, and enjoy the exhibits at the Owls Head Transportation Museum in Owls Head.
